Irish scientists develop anti-leukaemia drug
Irish scientists may have found a new wonder-drug in the battle against leukaemia.<br /><br />P-box-15 has been shown to kill leukaemia cells even in patients who have shown resistance to current therapies.<br /><br />The drug is still being trialled. Professor Mark Lawler from the School of Medicine at Trinity College Dublin says it is a significant development in cancer research.
