Quality mark to be established for language schools

Education Minister Batt O'Keefe is to establish a quality mark for language schools and colleges of further education.<br /><br />The initiative, which aims to attract overseas students, requires legislation.<br /><br />Colleges will need to comply with a code of practice to qualify for inclusion in the scheme.<br /><br />The standardised regulations mean institutions will have to clearly state entry requirements and show that a certain proportion of international students undertake exams within the advertised timeframe of the courses.
