A wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate and research programmes are provided by 26 academic Departments which are organized into three Faculties: Arts, Celtic Studies and Philosophy; Science and Engineering, and Social Sciences. PhD programmes and research opportunities are available at 9 research institutes too. Visit our website today for more information http://international.nuim.ie/
Students are also welcome to study at NUI Maynooth for one semester or one year as a visiting student under the study abroad scheme. A wonderful Maynooth experience with top quality teaching and learning facilities, friendly staff, a beautiful campus, and a very fun and social time are promised to all our students.
An International Foundation Course (IFC), which is a one year full time programme, has been established to help international students to manage the transition from second level in a non-English-speaking country to an undergraduate course at NUI Maynooth. The course structure enables students to gain university experience and obtain credits for part of their first-year degree programme while developing their language and academic skills. Students wishing to study Computer Science, Electronic Engineering and Finance may take two modules from their intended first-year course; successful completion of these will lead to exemptions in the first year.
A Summer Intensive English Course (SIEC) is also available to bring prospective students up to the level of English proficiency required by NUI Maynooth for undergraduate and postgraduate studies. Details of the SIEC and IFC can be found at the language centre website: http://www.nuim.ie/language/international/index.shtml

The university has excellent on campus accommodation with three student villages: River Apartments, Rye Hall and Village Apartments. International students are guaranteed on campus accommodation for the first year of their study at NUI Maynooth. See details at: www.maynoothcampus.com
